The Dallas Fire-Rescue Explorer Program is designed for young adults who are interested in firefighting and emergency medical services:

  • Targets students from ages 14 to 20
  • Emphasizes education and safety
  • Creates mentoring relationships
  • Opens career paths for participants
  • Assists DFD with recruiting new members

As an explorer post, it is our mission to set a new standard and, by example, be a national leader in fire service exploring. We will do this through continuous training, community service, and demonstrating our core values in everything we do.

For more information about the program or to apply please visit our Explorers Web Page . You may also contact Lieutenant Fernando Acuna at 214-670-8900.
