Station No. 58

The Cypress Waters development is an enclave of Dallas surrounded by Coppell and Irving. It has easy access to LBJ Freeway as well as the SH 121 Sam Rayburn and SH 190 President George Bush toll ways making it an ideal place for commuters to live and to work. With its upscale apartments and burgeoning modern business development, Cypress Waters needed its own fire station to ensure that the citizens that call the development home as well as businesses that establish operations have the needed public safety protection and quick response needed during their time of need.

Affectionately called “The Outpost” by its firefighters, Station 58 finished construction in late December 2014 and opened its doors at 10 a.m. on January 30th 2015. This makes it one of the department’s newest stations although it is considered temporary since much future development at Cypress Waters will warrant construction of a more permanent fire facility structure which will house more emergency fleet units. The Cypress Waters Development will continue growing with planned construction of single family homes as well as additional business office complexes.
