Maintenance Division
The Maintenance Division is very diverse in
services and support provided to the Fire-Rescue Department and its
members.
The Fleet Section has the responsibility for all
maintenance activities of the Emergency Response Fleet including
Rescue Tools, Firefighting Tools and an array of various other tools
and equipment. The facility occupies more than 75,000 sq .ft. and is
where repair activities from preventive maintenance and major repair
to body and paint work are performed.
The Automotive Parts Section provides required
parts, materials and goods to sustain fleet repair along with
firefighting tools and equipment for the Department. This section
occupies 9,200 square feet of the maintenance facility.
The Station Support Section is tasked with the
responsibility for all fire facilities and is staffed with
electricians, carpenters, overhead door and exhaust extraction
repair personnel. All are assigned to ensure that facilities are
functional and operational.

The Clothing and Supply Section is responsible for
quartermaster services including firefighter personal protective
ensembles’, uniforms, fire station supplies, emergency medical
supplies and pharmaceuticals. This section is in a 20,200 sq.
ft. facility.
